Procedure to Uninstall McAfee Internet Security from my Mac

•     First user needs login to his McAfee account by using home.mcafee.com
•     Then upper right corner of the page, user will see a “my account” button, he needs to click that button.
•     User has to login by email address associated with his McAfee account then enter his password for access the account.
•     User needs to deactivate the license- “my account” page has all the information about users McAfee internet security license such as version and license term & expiration dates.
•     To deactivate , user need to navigate to the “my account” page and will get a list of computers registered to his account then select the computer user wants to deactivate and click on the “deactivate” button.
•     After deactivation, user can reuse the license on a different computer.
•     User needs to go to the “applications folder” , user can find all of the applications on mac  in this folder.
•     User need to open “folder” and click on the “application” button. User can also find the application within spotlight in the upper right corner.
•     User needs to start McAfee Internet Security Uninstaller- For the removal of McAfee internet security user has to use the McAfee Uninstaller. It will guide the user to uninstall McAfee internet security on Mac.
•     Open the McAfee Internet security folder and Double click on the McAfee Internet Security Uninstaller.
•     Then user need to select the checkbox of Uninstall Site Advisor and click on the “continue”. Then Mac will verify that user is authorized to uninstall the McAfee.
•     User needs to enter the admin password of Mac and click “ok”
•     Once the uninstallation will complete, and then reboot the Mac.
